Subaru has recently announced the availability of its brand-new Forester in the United States, the model coming with a revised body style and a plethora of high-tech gizmos.
The 2017 Subaru Forester is standing out from the crowd with some new styling elements, like updated front fascia and grille which is flanked by the updated headlights. At the rear, the model also gets the fresh LED taillights, all complemented by the Bronze Metallic body color.
Speaking about technology, the car`s headlights can be also had with the new High Beam Assist system with EyeSight system which automatically switches between high and low beams in any given driving situations.
Stepping inside, the cabin of the all-new Subaru Forester is tweaked with the highest-end materials, like Saddle Brown perforated leather seats with contrast stitching, along with sound deadening material, multi-function steering wheel, thicker door glass and improved door seals for noise reduction, heated steering wheel, Keyless Access system and more.
In terms of safety features, the 2017 Subaru Forester is equipped with color cameras for a longer vision field, the EyeSight system also coming with Lane Keep Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, or Reverse Automatic Braking.
The engines are carried over the previous generation, with some improvements on the 2.5i CVT models in terms of fuel consumption. This means 26 mpg city / 32 mpg highway / 28 mph combined. On the other hand, the Forester 2.0XT Touring`s engine comes equipped with the high-performance Active Torque Vectoring system, which also improves the fuel consumption.
