The wonderful sporty Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio has recently received some fine tweaks from the ABT`s aftermarket specialists.
The ABT tuning company has managed to upgrade the Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio, the model coming now with a fresh revised front spoiler, custom suspension springs which now lower the front by 33 mm.
At the rear, the Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio also received two-pipe rear muffler, custom braking system, the 18- or the 19-inch alloy wheels.
Things with the ABT don’t stop here, as the tuning company has also upgraded the engine of the Beetle Cabrio, found under the hood.
The Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio can now develop 140 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, with its base entry-level 1.2-liter TSi unit.
The upper 1.4-liter TSI engine goes even higher, from 160 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque to 210 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque.
The top of the line 2.0-liter TFSI produces now 240 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, while the turbo-diesel 1.6-liter unit goes mild with 125 horsepower and 285 Nm of torque.
