Volkswagen presents today a new version of the up! model, namely the cross up!, a slightly revised model designed to behave better in certain situations.
For the beginning, the new VW cross up! comes with revised bumpers, silver roof bars and new plastic moldings. Under the hood we find a three-cylinder units linked to a five-speed manual transmission.
The engine is capable to deliver 74 horsepower, as there are no improvements compared to the standard model.
Inside, customers will find new door sills, leather inserts for the steering wheel and handbrake but also new seat upholstery.
A new set of 16-inch alloy wheels fitted with 185/50 tires complete the exterior improvements. The new model was seen for the first time in form of a concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011.
The new Volkswagen cross up! will be seen next month at Geneva, European prices starting at €13,925.
