Volkswagen decided to reveal more information on the Amarok Power Pickup Concept, a model seen for the first time few days ago.
The German prototype is based on the series Amarok Pickup and comes with revised front and rear bumpers, new 22-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, a new front grille and a revised rear bed.
A dual-pipe exhaust system is also part of the new prototype while a new suspension brings the model 80mm closer to the ground. Under the hood we find a 3.0-liter V6 unit with 272hp and 600Nm of torque.
Thanks to these resources but also to the eight-speed automatic transmission and the all-wheel drive system, the 0-100 km/h acceleration is possible in 7,9 seconds.
Inside, the German prototype is fitted with an 8-inch touchscreen display, sport seats wrapped in leather and an improved audio system. Volkswagen has no plans to give this concept green light for production but we can expect a future special edition to be inspired by the Amarok Power Pickup.
