VW pulled the wraps off the facelift version of the Polo GTI. The hot hatchback gets revised front and rear bumpers, new honeycomb grille inserts, a dual-pipe exhaust and red accents. Under the hood sits a 1.8-liter four-cylinder unit producing 192 horses and 320 Nm of torque.
Linked to a six-speed manual transmission, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,7 seconds before hitting the top speed of 236 km/h.

If the manual gearbox is not for you, there’s a double-clutch DSG option as well. Interior tweaks, on the other hand, include red contrast stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, sport seats with plaid upholstery and gloss black inserts.

The new Volkswagen Polo GTI will be seen in world premiere at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, an event which opens its gates this fall.

Sales for the revised Polo GTI will begin later this year or early 2015. More details on this will be released soon by VW.

This polo looks awesome, i used to own an old polo, now drive a BMW. I am tempted to buy it again for short city duties, wish they get a plugin/hybrid
