It seems that Volkswagen started to expand the Up! range with a new model, namely the Cross Up!. As its name suggests, the new version gets a more rough approach at the exterior and a retuned suspension with an increased ground clearance.
The extra millimeters help the German model to tackle more difficult terrains and road conditions, transforming it into a mini-crossover.
Under the hood we find the base 1.0-liter engine capable to offer 75 horsepower and a combined fuel economy of 4,7 liters/100km (50mpg US).
According to Volkswagen, the new Cross Up! also rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels with 185/50 tires while silver accents on the front bumper and side mirrors are available as well.
Inside, Volkswagen offers new trim, revised upholstery, door panels, split folding rear seats, power windows and more. European pricing starts at €13,925, first units following to arrive at their customers this summer.
