Volvo presented today a futuristic concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We talk about the Volvo Concept Coupe, a prototype which is meant to show us how the upcoming models will look like.
Under the hood, as expected, we find a plug-in hybrid system which consists of a 2.0-liter Drive-E petrol unit and an electric motor. The total output of the Swedish concept is rated at 400 horsepower and 600Nm of torque.
In terms of styling, the model sports LED daytime running lights, a panoramic glass roof, 21-inch alloy wheels and a revised front grille.
Inside, you will find leather upholstery, wood trim, a head-up display and a new infotainment system.
“The Volvo Concept Coupé is no futuristic dream car. It is designed to demonstrate the capability of our new architecture,” promises the company. However, for now, there are no details about a production model based on this concept.
