Of all the cars you’d expect to see get a limited edition, it’s easy to spot that they do have one special thing in common; they’re all cars.
Not quite, the Germans at Volkswagen have just announced a limited run of 25 units for their less than interesting VW Caravelle van.

Van seems like a harsh term but the Caravelle doesn’t exactly scream out luxury, sports, design or anything truly impressive.
The Germans have tried to make it more impressive so the VW Caravelle receives new alloy wheels, a new body kit, and special Candy White or Reflex Silver metallic paint.
In terms of technology additions the VW Caravelle limited edition is fitted with xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights.

Inside we find automatic climate control, voice activated satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and parking sensors.
Those not exactly capable of handling a car this big will certainly enjoy the VW Caravelle limited edition’s reversing camera and Lane Change Assist system.
Power comes from VW’s 2.0 liter TDI engine that delivers 180 horsepower all of which are relayed through the seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission via the standard FWD or the optional 4motion all wheel drive.

No more than 25 of these limited edition VW Caravelle’s will be made and all of them will be targeted at the British market.
I for one find the VW Caravelle limited edition a poor choice, even in such a strong market such as the UK. Oh and don’t get me started on the 44.995 GBP asking price (roughly 70.000 U.S. dollars).
