The 2018 NAIAS, taking place this period in Detroit, has gathered the most sophisticated and advanced technology that can be presently seen on the latest concepts and models. Audi has also revealed the long awaited Audi Q8 Hybrid SUV, which might lead the way for the future Q8 model.

As we can depict from the photos below, the concept is extremely futuristic, being highlighted by a more evolutionary design, with new and massive front grille and bold design.

Just like the Q6 sitting just above the Q5, the latest model is also much bigger than the Q7, measuring 5,020 mm long, 2,040 mm wide and 1,700 mm tall.

Inside, the cabin of the all-new Audi Q8 boasts with the latest technology, meaning up-to-date infotainment systems, OLED touchscreens which are highlighted by the high-resolution 12.3-inch screens, adding other functionalities with tactile buttons. The same technology lets you find out about climate and traffic conditions.

But the car`s main highlight is the hybrid powertrain it comes under the hood, which proves to be not only powerful, but also more fuel-efficient. We are looking here at a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine with 245 kW and 500 Nm of torque, hooked to an electric motor.

The overall power sits at 330 kW and 700 Nm of torque, indicating a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mind-blowing 4.5 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. Also, the Audi Q8 Hybrid SUV delivers a total electric range of 60 km, with a full charge being done in 2.5 hours. The concept could see the production line later on this year.
