Hyundai released details and photos of the new i30 wagon, a model which receives no less than six units with power ranging from 88hp to 133hp. In terms of dimensions, the South Korean model is 4,48 meters long and benefits from an increased trunk space of 528 liters. If the rear passenger seats are folded down, the total space increases to an impressive 1,642 liters.
According to the company, North America will get the new i30 hatchback in form of the Elantra GT while there are no details if the new i30 wagon will be sold outside of Europe.
Hyundai says that the new i30 wagon is a longer and more spacious version of the five-door hatchback model and offers all the attributes plus even greater load-carrying capacity.
“The New Generation i30 has been widely praised for its style, quality, and value. Our new wagon offers all of those attributes plus even greater load-carrying capacity,” said Allan Rushforth, Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor Europe.
More details will be released after the model’s debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
