The special edition will arrive in 2020 as the Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag and represents 70 years of experience in building one of the most impressive sports cars in the world, starting with the aforementioned XK 120, back in 1948.

Famous Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum, speaks very highly of the car`s looks and performance under the hood:

“Perfect proportions, design purity and visual drama – every Jaguar must express these qualities, and none more so than F-Type. In creating the Chequered Flag we`ve focused on details which enhance F-TYPE`s presence and promise of performance – and in doing so, made a fitting celebration of 70 years of beautiful, fast, Jaguar sports cars.”

Available in both coupe and convertible disguises, the 2020 Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag will feature the Black Design Pack which separates it from any other F-Type model. It will features new side skirts and black grille sections from the SVO tuning division, adding as well black roof and massive 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels finished in diamond. The wheels are also in contrast with the red brakes.

The special features continue inside where the customer is welcomed with Windsor/Ebony leather on the Performance seats with embossed headrests, which come standard. There is also dark brushed aluminum for the center console trim, as well as steering wheel with subtle chaquered flag logo.

Under the hood, the 2020 Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag will arrive with no less than four engine choices. Two of them refer to the standard 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder pot with 221 kW and rear-wheel drive system, followed by an optional 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine, with 250 kW for the V6 and 280 kW, respectively, for the V6 S.

Prices start at $139,650 for the entry-level F-Type Chequered Flag LE and go up to $213,450 for the top of the line 2020 Jaguar F-Type Chequered Flag LE 280 kW AWD Convertible. Full prices are released by Aussie magazine PerformanceDrive and are detailed below.

The SVR was created by Jaguar`s Special Vehicle Operations and comes with some visual and performance enhancements which separate it from the rest of the lineup.

This means a new suspension system with bespoke springs front and rear which are now 30 percent stiffer. There are also new 21-inch alloy wheels as standard, however, you can also opt for the 22-inch size. The latter ones are more lightweight and come equipped as well with new 395mm front and 396mm rear brakes.

As for technology onboard, the new Jaguar F-Pace SVR is fully packed with the latest gadgetries, updated touch-screen media interface with satellite-navigation and connectivity, or sports seats with SVR logos and premium leather upholstery.

The SUV`s main highlight remains the powertrain under the hood, being a serious performer and looking refreshingly different from anything else in the segment. We are dealing with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 mill with 404 kW and 680 NM of torque.

Thanks to an eight-speed automatic transmission, Active exhaust system and tops speed of 283 km/h, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR is capable to run from 0 to 100 km/h in a staggering 4.3 seconds. With all these impressive performance figures, the new SVR is probably the fastest and most powerful SUV on the market, way too powerful than the Alfa Romeo Stelvio QV, which delivers 375 kW.

This comes just before its official unveiling at this year`s 2018 Geneva Motor Show starting with the 1st of March. And as we can see from the spy video below, the model is almost ready to hit the roads.

About the exquisite driving capabilities of the all-new Jaguar I-Pace, representatives within the company consider that it will be a top notch electric car, extremely powerful and performing at its highest level. It will be the perfect ride “whether on the school run, daily commute or even coping in subzero temperatures.

Ian Hoban, Jaguar vehicle line director, has also praised the exquisite driving capabilities of the all-new I-Pace, stating in a recent interview:

“Not only will the I-PACE charge quickly enough for our customers to carry out their everyday lives, it will offer powerful and precise performance in a variety of conditions and climactic extremes. Allied with the versatile credentials of our celebrated PACE family, this will be an electric performance SUV like no other.”

According to recent reports and the couple of prototypes we have seen on the track so far, the full-electric I-Pace is set to be equipped with a new 90kW battery with electric motors on both the front and rear axles. This would translate in around 300 kW and 700 Nm of torque, enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. On the other hand, the electric range would be around 500 km on a single charge.

As for technology, the all-newJaguar I-Pace full-electric will be state-of-the-art and enhanced with the latest gadgetries and gizmos. For instance, the model will come with the company`s latet InControl touch-screen system.

Just like most of other European models especially built for China, the all-new Jaguar XEL is set to offer increase space for the rear passengers, allowing as well room for plenty of powerful engines. The model is the extension of the XE in Europe and will join the XF long wheelbase in China early next year.

The XEL will be an imposing ride, thanks to the 120mm extension to the wheelbase, coming as well with longer rear door and much wider rear quarter window. Once arriving on the market, buyers should be able to choose between a FWD or an AWD variant with Active Driveline technology. Australia will get the AWD alone, with prices to start from AUD 50,000. Firs previewed in a concept form at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the all-new 2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake is going to be the new flagship from the British carmaker, a worthy competitor for the G30 BMW 5-Series or Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate.

There is also a teaser image coming along with the video, which is showcasing the car`s panoramic roof and buxom derriere. Taking into account the recent spy photos as well, we are looking here at an extremely aggressive car with advanced aerodynamics, all part of the new aluminum platform that the carmaker is also using on other new models, like the second-gen XF sedan.

The extensive use of aluminum around the body will allow the new 2018 Jaguar XF Sportbrake to perform extremely well on the roads, adding as well a wide range of Ingenium turbo petrol burners and diesels with four cylinder configuration.

One of the top mill that will be fitted under the hood is the 3.0-liter turbo diesel V6 engine, developing 221 kW. A supercharged V6 is also going to be equipped, allowing no less than 280 kW.

The Jaguar E-Pace is already under heavy testing, the carmaker putting the final pieces together. Once it will arrive, it will come with zero CO2 emissions and impressive performance under the hood, which is a common thing these days.

The Jaguar E-Pace will underpin the carmaker`s recent EV platform, previously developed for the next-gen Range Rover Evoque, meaning lightweight materials like carbon fiber composites, which will make it more agile and faster.

The new EV architecture will also make room for some new all-electric drivetrain, consisting of two electric-motors, each one sending the power to the front and rear axles. Also, very important, the entire system will use the new torque vectoring system which shifts the power between the front and rear axles.

The electric drivetrain will develop 114 horsepower and 195 horsepower front and rear axle, respectively. Paired to a lithium-ion battery, the drivetrain will come with a 70kW capacity and a range of approximately 300 miles.

On the contrary, the leather seats, the extended use of aluminum, and the complexity of the multimedia system, with 8-inch touchscreen are really impressive!

There, the kitty have been pushed to its limits by the actress, at up to 201 mph – a personal record for both Michelle and the F-Type. At the end of the run, Michelle was impressed by the smoothness and high-speed stability of the car, and agreed that the next attempt to touch such high speeds will be also done under a professional driver’s guidance.
