To start, the new RDX has square exhaust tips, which enhance the aesthetic appearance of the SUV. However, the fresh design could mean that there is a new engine under the hood. Right now details are scarce but a powertrain upgrade is unlikely since Acura will save that for the redesign that comes a few years later.

It is also possible that the company opts for a hybrid powertrain to appease the modern trends. The brand offered a hybrid setup in the RLX flagship that consisted of three motors. The engine was supported with a single motor while two of them rested in the rear axle. Acura hasn’t confirmed the rumors but we will know more close to the launch.

Currently, the Acura RDX runs a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that ekes out 272 hp while being teamed up with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The RDX is available in FWD and AWD functionality.

Even if the model is still in a prototype phase, it will most likely carry over the same design language and features. The car`s sophisticated platform will allow for a generous space inside and a couple of new and high-tech engines, like the 2.0-liter DOHC VTEC Turbo with a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Visually, the design language of the new RDX comes with a more dramatic approach, highlighted by aggressive and flowing lines. Other hot features refer to a more muscular hood, tapered headlights and LED daytime running lights, large circular tailpipe, and roof-mounted spoiler.

Another cool feature of the 2019 Acura RDX SUV is the Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system, which enhances a smooth driving on all terrain surfaces. The same system also comes with four driving modes – Sport, Sport+, Comfort and Snow. There is also the Adaptive Damper System that actively controls the car`s suspension action to provide the same smooth driving, or the Acura True Touchpad Interface with a touchscreen and remote-based interface.

Speaking of advanced safety features and driver-assistive technologies, the all-new 2019 Acura RDX will come with the next-gen AcuraLink with 4G LTE WI-Fi, Hill Start Assist, Surround-View Camera System, Rear-Cross Traffic Monitor, Blind Spot Information system, or front and rear parking sensors.

The 2016 Hybrid edition is now available for $59,950, which is no cheap price, but taking into account that it shares the technology and hybrid technology with the topper NSX supercar, is definitely worth the price.

Speaking about technology and features, the 2016 Acura RLS Sport Hybrid comes with Smart Entry/Smart Start keyless access, the latest dual-touch screens, which are extremely easy to use, “tensionless” e-pretension front seatbelts, rain-sensing windshield wipers and much more.

As for the safety features, these are included in the AcuraWatch pack and consists of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF), Cross Traffic Monitor or Collision Mitigation Braking System.

Other features also include the 19-inch alloy rims, Electronic Parking Brake with Automatic Brake Hold, or capless refueling system.

One of those China-based is the all-new Acura CDX, the model tackling the brand new Mercedes-Benz GLA or Audi Q3 SUV.

Reports from Chinese media state that the Acura CDX SUV is sized 4,495/1,8401,600 mm, coming as well with a 2,660 mm wheelbase.

In terms of visuals, the brand-new CDX SUV is coming with massive badges around the body, especially on the front grille, which is also highlighted by the full LED headlights. At the rear end, a smaller badge is also present.

Other design features are also highlighted, like the sharp lines intersecting beneath the mirrors, along with the other design cues that give away an Acura model from miles away. The rear end is also standing out from the crowd with integrated tailpipes in the black end bumper.

Under the hood, the Acura CDX SUV will take its power from a .1.5-liter petrol turbocharged burner, developing a good 182 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque, being sent to all four corners via an eight-speed DCT automatic transmission.

Once available on the Chinese market starting this autumn, the new CDX SUV will be priced from 250,000 YEN, and can reach 300,000 YEN, the equivalent of $38,000 and $46,000, respectively.

I know, it’s 8 times more than it’s price list, but having VIN #001 and being auctioned for charity purposes helped a lot. Barrett-Jackson organized the 45th Anniversary Scottsdale Auction, between 23rd and 31st January 2016. During the previous auctions, the company managed to collect over $84.6 million, all of them for charitable projects and foundations. Acura is donating all of the NSX’s selling price to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground.

The winner was Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. It’s not it’s first bidder victory, as he managed to buy first 2015 Corvette Z06, the first 2014 Corvette Stingray and the first 2014 Stingray Convertible.

As you probably know, NSX’s production will start this spring, and it’s base price will be $ 157,800. The ordering period will start in 25 February. The premium sports car is animated by combination of 4 motors (three electric and a mid-mounted 3.5 liter V6 engine) which delivers over 550 HP. The power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed dual clutch automated transmission. The V6 powers the rear wheels, while two electric motors send their power to each front wheels. The third motor, situated on the rear axle adds torque at acceleration and regenerates brake force. The NSX sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds.

As you probably know, the 2016 Honda / Acura NSX was first launched at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, in Detroit and rumors have it that the company is already preparing a hotter version, called the NSX Type R. The RLS Sport Hybrid is the latest edition from Acura, which has been announced for the market since last spring, but was apparently delayed until now, due to supposing “technical” issue, as the company explains.

For the aforementioned price, the Acura RLS Sport Hybrid is coming with the LED headlights, smoked chrome front grille, the 19-inch alloy wheels equipped with the all-season Michelin tires and much more.

Inside, the Acura RLS Sport Hyrbid is tweaked with a lot of safety features, like the Forward Collision Warning system, the Lane Keeping Assist and the Blind Spot Information, with addition gizmos like GPS navigation system, the tri-zone automatic climate control system, as well as Milano leather on the seats.

The more premium RLS Sport Hybrid Advance trim is priced at $65,950 and features more tweaks, like heated rear seats, heated and ventilated front seats, Adaptive cruise and more.

Under the hood, both trim levels are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 unit, backed by a three-motor hybrid system, with the models also to sport the SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) layout.

The power produced stands at an impressive 377 horsepower and 461 Nm of torque.
