The 2017 Honda Civic Type R Red Edition will join the Type R in Australia towards the end of the year, in a limited-run of just 228 examples, coming with a price tag of $53,488. This makes it $2,498 over the Type R`s standard price.

Four level trims will be available – VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L and VTi-LX – the Type R Red Edition coming with a unique aero kit that separates it from the standard model.
