Alpha-N Performance released photos and details on their new tuning package for the Volkswagen Golf R, the previous generation to be more specific.
As the tuner’s name may suggest, they focus on improving the performance figures, this package being no exception. Under the hood we find a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit producing 330 horsepower and linked to a DSG automatic transmission.
The standard 0-100 km/h sprint time of 5,5 seconds is certainly improved thanks to the additional 60 horsepower. However, Alpha-N Performance released no exact figures in this regard.
At the exterior, thanks to some help from Öhlins, the German model receives a blue finish, new 20-inch OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT alloy wheels with 235/30 R20 tires and a stainless steel exhaust system.
A custom Road & Track chassis is also part of this package alongside new sports air filter. Pricing and availability figures were not released yet.
