Audi prepares a special edition of the R8 supercar exclusively for the Chinese market. We talk about the Audi R8 China Edition, a suggestive name for the new edition which will be available in a limited run of 80 units.
Of course, there are no performance tweaks as we find the same 5.2-liter V10 unit delivering 525 horsepower and 530Nm of torque.
The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is possible in 3,9 seconds also thanks to a new high-performance R tronic transmission. At the exterior, the R8 China Edition gets a special Malibu Blue with silver accents and new 19-inch alloy wheels.
The company also provides an optional Suzuka Grey finish for the German sports car. Entering the cockpit you will find a matching color scheme, new Alcantara steering wheel, a numbered gear knob and leather upholstery for the seats.
