Volkswagen is generous with UK buyers and decided to reveal a new special edition, called Sportline 60. It is based on the Transporter van, a quite popular model in the country. The German company actually celebrates 60 years for their model in Great Britain which makes this model even more important.
At the exterior, buyers will get 18-inch alloys, black steel side bars, parking sensors, heated door mirrors and glossy black inserts.
Under the hood of the Volkswagen Transporter Sportline 60 edition sits a 2.0-liter BiTDI unit producing 180 horses and 400 Nm of torque, an engine which is linked to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG, if you are willing to pay some extra cash.
Interior features include electric windows, Bluetooth connectivity, quilted leather upholstery, a Kenwood satellite navigation system and climate control. Available in both short and long wheelbases, the Volkswagen Transporter Sportline 60 edition also benefits from a new Candy White exterior color with Deep Black roof.
Pricing starts from £29,940 for the short-wheelbase version while the range-topping variant with the optional automatic gearbox kicks off at £34,170.
