The new Kia Forte comes to the U.S. market with a starting price of $15,900 and several attractive features.
Power is provided by a base 1.8-liter engine capable to produce 148 horsepower. A more potent 2.0-liter direct-injection unit with 173 horses is also available for the range-topping EX model. Standard features for the Korean model include air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio and heated mirrors.
The range-topping model benefits from larger alloys, rear parking camera, new infotainment system and keyless entry. Kia also provides a Technology Package which adds LED lights, dual-zone climate control, a 4.2-inch LCD screen and more.
The Forte EX can be ordered with a Premium Pack which brings leather upholstery, adjustable seats, heated rear seats, leather steering wheel and 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with low-profile tires.
Be sure to add the $800 destination charge on top of the $15,900 starting price in order to obtain the accurate figures.
