Even if the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M were officially unveiled some several weeks ago, I couldn`t stay away and decided to play with them a little bit, by revealing further details and image gallery with both models.
The two models are coming with an exquisite design, both outside and inside, where every inch of the model bear the sign of BMW`s M Division, while under the hood, the “M” also influences the dynamics and the performance of the cars.
Outside, the 2015 X5 M and X6 M are fitted with a more aggressive design, which unveils larger air intakes at the front, side grills bearing the Air Breathers, while at the rear, the models are fitted with the M four-tailpipe exhaust system, or the M 20-inch wheels, which add up some flavor to the overall look.
Inside, the 2015 BMW X5 M and the X6 M are all wrapped in leather and other premium materials, providing the cabins with a high-end mood, while the Head-Up Display also features some M goodies.
In terms of performance, the two SUV`s are also sporting the M mark, in the shape of a 4.4-liter V8 unit, with BMW`s M TwinPower Turbo technology. The models develop 567 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, hooked to an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic with Drivelogic.
There are also some important systems that increase the performance of the new X5 M and X6 M, like the VALVETRONIC and the High Precision Direct Petrol Inject, or the Low Speed Assistant enhances the torque converter auto.
