The Germans over at BMW are probably the most sincere advocate for Rear Wheel Drive of all the mainstream luxury car manufacturers.

This is AWD country, and this is where BMW is now celebrating. The Bavarians have been churning out all wheel drive models ever since 1985.
25 years ago, back in 1985, the Germans rolled out the E30 BMW 325 iX which was their first model with permanent all wheel drive.
In order to celebrate a quarter of a century of BMW all wheel drive engineering, the company decided to launch an extension package of their snow and ice training schools.
The list of BMW snow and ice training programs includes the BMW Snow Intensive Training course in Solden of Austria. Then you step up the ranks and prepare yourself for the requirements of the BMW Snow Drift Training which is held in the same town.
Once you find yourself a proper BMW trained driver and still want more you can get your ticket to the best facility ever, that’ll be the Arctic Circle location of the BMW Ice Fascination Training program.
