If you’re a BMW X3 Buyer and you’re so in love with your future “ultimate driving machine” you can’t wait for it to arrive another second there may be a cure for you.
It’s not a speedy delivery service, it’s a BMW product that will allow you to watch your car being built through an online portal.
It’s not exactly the peep show a certain group of Internet aficionados were hoping for but it’s definitely hot material for some. Particularly for the sort of people who lie awake at night thinking about a cornering strategy for the next day.
BMW aren’t shy about admitting to stuff like this. Not literally but anyway, they claim that the online portal with footage from the Spartanburg plant (the birthplace of the X3) enhances the overall customer experience that is part of the BMW enthusiasm.
It seems that in order to catch a few peeps of your BMW X3’s building process and to highlight the custom options added you will need to login to a My BMW account on the Bavarian company’s American counterpart website.
It will be the same portal that will enable future BMW X3 owners to download or share various parts of the footage.
Imagine that, some smug friend of yours will have the chance to show you how the optional super stereo is being installed into his future X3.
