You can almost perceive this concept as being similar to the Kia Sorento, but the Cross GT is much larger. This seven seater SUV has a 400mm longer wheelbase and it is 120mm wider.
Considering the size, the only market to receive it would be the US. Big SUVs have always flown out of American dealerships. But that’s only if it sees production.
Beneath the hood, the Kia Cross GT displays a Hybrid engine. That’s a 3.8 liter V6 gasoline engine coupled with an electric motor to pump 400hp and 678Nm or torque to all four of your wheels. That’s done through an 8 speed automatic gear box.
Besides the obvious size, there are more styling features that sets the car apart. You have suicide back doors, a 3-piece glass roof and huge alloy wheels. The tailgate is a glass single piece and the rear lights are LED. The interior has TFT displays and increased baggage space.
Should it ever see an assembly line, the Kia Crossover Gt would compete with Volkswagen’s CrossBlue, but we will just wait and see how this develops.
