With the Geneva Motor Show frenzy just started today, we get to talk about the Mercedes Concept V-ision e, one of the many more world premieres that we will cover in the coming days.
The German concept packs a hybrid powertrain that includes a 210-horsepower petrol engine and an electric motor that offers another 122 horses. Do the math and you will get a total output of 332 horsepower and over 600 Nm of torque.
Even though it is a hybrid model, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is only 6,1 seconds with a top speed of 206 km/h. In terms of fuel consumption, it returns an average of 3 liters/100 km with an electric driving range of around 50 kilometers.
At the exterior, the Mercedes Concept V-ision e comes with massive 20-inch alloy wheels, a glass roof, aggressive bumpers with air intakes, big headlamps with LEDs and a new rear spoiler. Enter the cabin and you will find high-quality materials, Nappa leather seats, executive rear seats and a three-stage heating and ventilation system.
Last but not least, Mercedes offers front-passanger seat backrests as well as two iPad holders compatible with a charging interface. We are interested to see if this concept will reach mass production anytime soon.
