Brabus gets yet again in our attention with a new tuning package unveiled at this year’s edition of the Essen Motor Show in Germany.
The model in question is the new Mercedes GL-Class, an SUV which receives both aesthetic and performance tweaks.

To begin with, the Mercedes GL 350 BlueTEC gets a power boost to 310 horsepower and 690Nm of torque which makes the 0-100 km/h sprint possible in 7,6 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h.

A more powerful Mercedes GL 500 with a total of 521 horses and 800Nm of torque is offered as well. For this version, the V8 engine under the hood makes the 0-100 km/h sprint in 5 seconds with a top speed of 275 km/h.

At the exterior, Brabus provides a new stainless-steel exhaust system, large 18 to 23 inches alloy wheels and an improved braking system. A retuned suspension able to bring the German SUV closer to the ground by 30mm is available as well.

Inside, customers will find carbon fiber trim, illuminated door sill plates, Alcantara and leather upholstery but also wood inserts.
