Today we get a closer look at the 2014 Mercedes S-Class as an official brochure has been leaked. Besides new photos, there is some information on three of the engines found in the lineup.
The first one is a 3.0-liter V6 diesel unit producing 258 horsepower and 620Nm of torque. This unit will be found on the S350 BlueTEC model and is capable to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,8 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.

Next up we find a 4.7-liter V8 with 455hp and 700Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h in 4,8 seconds.

Last but not least, the new Mercedes S400 Hybrid gets a 3.5-liter V6 and an electric motor for a total of 306hp and 370Nm of torque. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h is similar with the S350 BlueTEC variant, the top speed figure also remaining the same.

Of course, the engine range will include more engines but only those three were leaked today.
