There was a matter of time until Brabus managed to put up a complete tuning kit for the all-new Mercedes S-Class. We were expecting such a package from a German tuner which is specialized in preparing Mercedes models.
To begin with, the S500 version gets a power boost to 520 horsepower and 820Nm of torque. The 4.7-liter V8 receives the 520 PowerXtra CGI kit which makes the 0-100 km/h sprint possible in 4,2 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h.
The Mercedes S63 AMG receives a similar kit which improves the output to 650 horsepower and 1,000Nm of torque. Even more, the 5.5-liter V8 can produce 730 horses for a top speed of 325 km/h.
The additional power is squeezed thanks to a new ECU unit, turbochargers, revised air intake and exhaust systems.
In terms of styling, the company provides new side skirts, 19- to 21-inch alloy wheels, new bumpers and a sports exhaust system. Pricing details will be released soon by Brabus.
