The Porsche 911 Turbo being a great performance machine when it leaves the factory could only be better when some upgrades are added. It is the turn of Australian tuner RENM to flex their upgrade adding muscle and show us what they can get out of the 997 Turbo.

The whole set of upgrades added was dubbed as the RN580 kit and it is actually a stage 2 performance upgrade that bumps the power output up to 580 horsepower and a very handy 800 Nm of torque.

Adding to the boost in power there’s a conglomerate of an exhaust system that’s made from T309 stainless steel and uses sports catalytic converters with sound and performance valve control that not only makes it “breathe” better but also “sing” better.

Of course, RENM know that Porsche 911 Turbo buyers don’t settle for straight line performance and tunes so there’s a choice of various suspension kits that are destined to lower ride hight and help handling, and as a rare thing it’s also available for cars that have been ordered with PASM.

Happily, they didn’t go to exterior tuning inspired from Fast and Furious movies but a rather subtle, discrete appearance, accentuated by some unique three piece forged wheels with titanium fasteners, a different rear wing and a few carbon fiber inserts for the interior.

Sadly I have no information on the cost of the modifications that enable the RM580 to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km/h.
