The Renault French based carmaker is presenting its Alpine Vision Gran Turismo from a totally different approach, as the sports car has recently popped up on the web in a video, after being displayed during the 2015 Festival Automobile International, in Paris.
The Renault Alpine Vision Gran Turismo is actually the specially designed sports car, ready to tackle the heavy competition from the famous Gran Turismo 6 video game, so do not expect to see it in real flesh any time soon. But the model will borrow some of its body styling cues for the rumored Alpine sports car, which is due to arrive in a couple of years.
The Renault Alpine Gran Turismo will be very light, the sports car only weighing 900 kg, coming as well with a carbon fiber monocoque, double wishbone suspension, as well as ventilated brake discs, both front and rear.
The Renault Alpine Gran Turismo will be powered by a 4.5-liter V8 unit, developing a great output of 450 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque, when hooking the 7-speed sequential transmission to the rear-wheel drive layout.
