Renault unveils a quite unique concept based on the Twizy production model. We talk about the Twizy Renault Sport F1, a prototype which borrows several features from the F1 world.
Power is provided by an electric motor producing 17 horsepower but thanks to the KERS system, it can deliver a total output of almost 100 horses. The concept weighs 564 kilograms and is able to hit a top speed of 110 km/h.
In terms of styling, it benefits from a yellow finish with black accents, new F1-inspired front apron and rear wing, special tires and extra safety features.
“This extraordinary vehicle showcases Renault’s advanced expertise in electric technology employed in F1,” says the company.
The new Twizy Renault Sport F1 Concept is indeed, a very interesting vehicle but, as you’ll expect, it remains a unique prototype with no plans to enter production in any toned down variant.
