Peugeot presented the SW version of the new 308 at the Geneva Motor Show. The wagon version is going to go on sale this summer and rides the new EMP2 platform.
This means that the model is 140 kilograms ligther, a key factor for better performance figures. Under the hood you will find several petrol and diesel engines with outputs ranging from 92 hp to 155 hp.
The 1.6-liter BlueHDi model offering 120 horsepower is capable to return a fuel economy of 3,2 liters/100 km or 73,5 mpg US, quite impressive figures indeed.
Compared to the hatchback model, the new Peugeot 308 SW stands out thanks to the larger boot capacity of 610 liters. The French wagon is also 327mm longer which improves the rear legroom as well.
