Subaru released photos and details for the new Outback, namely the 2014 model year. At the exterior, the Japanese model benefits from new Deep Sea Blue Park and Dark Grey Metallic finishes as well as 17-inch alloy wheels, body-colored cladding and other minor tweaks.
As mentioned above, the company provides a new 2.0-liter Boxer engine capable to return fuel economy figures of 44,8mpg UK with CO2 emissions of 166 g/km.
We don’t know the total output of this engine but we know that it is linked to a Lineartronic CVT.
“Black metallic panels bring about a more modern and premium appearance and feel, while instruments within the cockpit have been moved to improve user-friendliness,” says Subaru.
Pricing for the 2014 Subaru Outback fitted with the new engine starts at £29,995 for the manual gearbox and £31,495 for the automatic unit.
