The 2015 Acura ILX has been rumored for some time and now the automaker has announced the model`s presence in the United States.
The 2015 Acura ILX is now available for order on the North American market, the model coming in a special Modern Steel Metallic finish, replacing the former Polished Metal Metallic paint job.
It seems that the 2015 Acura ILX will not be coming with any changes at the body, except for the paintjob, but under the hood, the automaker is rebalancing the situation by putting a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which now develops 150 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque, for the entry-level model.
This is a very major change, as the automaker dropped the original hybrid model, coming with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder unit and electric motor, which developed 144 horsepower, to pack the model with a more powerful unit.
The 2015 Acura ILX entry-level will be costing $27,050, without taking into account the $895 destination fess.
