Ford officially pulled the wraps off the new Transit Connect Wagon, a larger, seven-seat version of the well-known multi-purpose vehicle.
Power is provided by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine but also a smaller 1.6-liter EcoBoost power plant. A six-speed automatic transmission transfers the power to the wheels.

According to Ford, the new Transit Connect Wagon will be able to return a fuel economy of 30mpg US or 7,8 liters/100km.

The American model will be offered with a total of three trim levels including XL, XLT and Titanium. There will be two wheelbase variants, the towing and payload capacity being rated at 907 kilograms and 544 kilograms. Inside, there is enough room for seven passengers while the second and third row are completely foldable for an increased cargo space.
Depending on the equipment level you will choose, Ford provides several features such as a rear view camera, a panoramic roof or a touchscreen display with integrated satellite navigation.

“Transit Connect Wagon gives young families and people on the go the fun-to-drive and efficient vehicle they’ve been looking for,” says the company.
