The Audi German based automaker has sent the A3 e-tron model in the UK, where the plug-in hybrid will become available from 34,950 GBP.
The fresh Audi A3 e-tron was unveiled a couple of months ago and now the plug-in hybrid hatchback is ready to march in the United Kingdom, promising a lot of interesting goodies.
For the base entry price of 34,950 GBP, the Audi A3 e-tron will be powered by a 1.4-liter TFSI petrol unit, developing 147 horsepower, while the electric motor provides an extra 100 horsepower.
With a total of 247 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, the new Audi A3 e-tron can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, at a top speed of 220 km/h.
The Audi A3 e-tron is also environmental friendly, with the CO2 emissions standing at just 37g/km.
The Audi A3 e-tron will becoming available on the United Kingdom market this August, with the first orders to be planned in January, 2015.
