Infiniti set out to build a truly luxurious electric vehicle that will be worthy of the brand, while not compromising anything that an electric car signifies.
For a while, the project’s certainty was a tad ambiguous, as the car wouldn’t see daylight if the technology they desired wasn’t feasible to implement.
A recent report says that the EV is still in the works, and Infiniti confirmed it would see production, but some delays should be expected. The delays come because the car maker didn’t anticipate certain advances in the electrical technology field, and now some time will have to be spend to bring the project up to date.
“There are some interesting advances in electric technology we hadn’t anticipated when we showed the LE, which, by delaying a little bit, we can incorporate into the car.” Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer stated this, once again confirming that the Infiniti EV will be nothing is not high-end and bereft of compromise.
