Kia released details and photos for the new Picanto LPG, the fuel efficient version of the small model which is capable to run on gas.
To be more specific, it is a bi-fuel vehicle as it can run on gasoline as well. Under the bonnet sits a 1.0-liter three-cylinder unit producing 67 horsepower and 90Nm of torque with fuel economy figures of 5,8 liters/100km and CO2 emissions of 100 g/km.
You can easily switch between the gasoline and LPG thanks to a special button when the 27-liter LPG tank runs out, there is the 35-liter gasoline tank which will get you to your destination.
The all-new Kia Picanto LPG is scheduled to go on sale towards the end of this year, after its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The company said that it will be available in selected countries such as Germany, Poland, Italy, Portugal and Greece at first.
