The Germans at Opel decided to follow the actual trend and reveal a fuel-efficient LPG version of the new Adam.
The tiny city car benefits now form a 1.4-liter ecoFLEX engine producing 87 horsepower and being capable to offer a driving range of 1,200 kilometers.
Fuel economy figures are rated at 6,9 liters/100km when running on LPG with CO2 emissions of 112 g/km. As you guessed, the German model is capable to run on gasoline as well, a feature seen on all LPG models.
Opel claims that the gas tank is placed under the floor which means that you will get the same legroom and luggage space.
“For the LPG variant, engineers reinforced the valves and valve seats and correspondingly adapted engine management,” says the company.
If the new Opel Adam LPG is already your choice, be sure to contact your local dealer as the model is already available on order with prices starting at €16,150.
