According to Opel manufacturer, the order books for the all-new 2018 Opel Crossland X in Germany are now opened, the model costing less than the entry-level Mokka X – just €16,850.

Even if we don’t know the complete official details, we do have some info about the car`s engines and trims, and some of its technological goodies.

From what we`ve found from close sources, the all-new 2018 Opel Crossland X will be offered with the OnStar services for the Edition grade, along with the 24-hour emergency call service, remote control operation of door locks, adding a suite of other features.

These refer to the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, IntelliLink infotainment system with 8.0-inch colour touchscreen, Android Auto Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, wireless inductive charging and so on.

As for the engine lineup under the hood, the all-new 2018 Opel Crossland X comes with a wide range of petrol burners and diesels.

First, the model is set to come with three petrol engines: the 1.2-liter with 80 horsepower and the 1.2-liter turbo with 108 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque, respectively 128 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, the latter one coming as well with a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a good 9.1 seconds, at a top speed of 206 km/h.

On the diesel side, the new Crossland X comes with a 1.6-liter engine with two configurators: 98 horsepower and 254 Nm of torque, and 118 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, respectively. All five engines are equipped with a five-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic.
