If the Germans at Brabus have taken a bit of a break from proper activites on Mercedes products, their neighbours at Techart have chosen the opposite approach.

In traditional Deutsche workmanship, the Porsche tuning specialists have opened up a new subsidiary in Irvine, California.
Up until this momentous decision, Techart’s product were available stateside from resellers only.

That wasn’t much of a problem except it would make final deliveries of Porsche tuning kits relatively slow. Now, if there’s one thing high rollers who want a custom Porsche can’t do, that’s waiting.
With the new addition, Techart can ramp up deliveries and, subsequently, sales in the U.S. Once they get more money, there’s only two ways to go for them.
They either come up with lots of crazy tuning kits for various Porsche products or they start making really weird stuff to tailor to the American market.

Techart’s CEO, a chap called Thomas Behringer admits that the U.S. is the company’s biggest market and this is their way of giving back. The Irvine, California shop will offer the full range of Techart products from wheels to fire-breathing tuning kits for both engines and bodies of Porsche vehicles.
