The UK market is ready to receive a new car in the shape of the all-new 2017 Kia Picanto, with the order books already listing the full prices and details. The model lineup will arrive locally this summer.

There are up to five variants arriving in the UK, with prices to start from £9,450 in the entry level ‘1’, and go all the way up to £13,950 in the top of the line ‘GT-Line’. The full prices are listed in the media gallery below.

All variants come with standard features, each one gradually receiving their one characteristics, depending on the package involved. For instance, the entry-level version comes with automatic headlights, electronic stability control, electric front windows, tilt-adjustable steering column, AUX or USB ports, while the mid-entry ‘2’ gets additional tweaks – electric heated side mirrors, electric rear windows, Bluetooth with music streaming and so on.

Moving on to grade ‘3’, this particular variant is standing out from the crowd with some new visual characteristics, such as 15-inch alloy wheels, electric folding side mirrors with LED indicators, while the cabin is now equipped with a 7.0-inch display with satellite-navigation and Bluetooth with voice recognition, adding DAB radio, reversing camera or cruise control with speed limiter.

Next in kin is the ‘GT-Line’ grade with LED DRLs and taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels, updated bumpers and side sills and dual exhaust system. Inside, the cabin welcomes you with stainless steel pedals, rear privacy glass or black and red faux leather seats.

Finally, the top of the line ‘GT-Line S’ grade is even more technologized – 7.0-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, infotainment system and connectivity, Kia Connected Services, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

In the engine department, all variants are equipped with two engines – a 1.0-liter with 66 horsepower, as well as a 1.25-liter mill with 83 horsepower. The transmissions refer to a five-speed manual or a four-speed auto gearbox.
