Volkswagen pulled the wraps off a new concept at the Wörthersee show, namely the Golf GTI Cabrio Austria.
The open-top model stands out thanks to its special Onyx White exterior finish, new 19-inch alloy wheels, a front spoiler, rear apron and red stripes. Inside, we find a powerful 2,250 watt audio system, revised Recaro seats, red inserts, a flat-bottom steering wheel and air vents.
Under the hood sits a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit capable to produce 333 horsepower, no performance figures being released yet.
“The apprentices realized their white-red colour concept with attention to detail on both the vehicle interior and exterior,” says the German carmaker.
In order to improve the overall performance, even if we talk about a one-off model, Volkswagen provides a retuned suspension with strut tower brace, a stainless steel sports exhaust and also a new set of brakes from Brembo.
