The Volkswagen Transporter T5 van gets in Hartmann’s attention as the company released a comprehensive tuning kit including both styling and performance tweaks.
On the outside, the company offers revised front and rear bumpers, rocker panels, a rear skirt, 20-inch alloy wheels with 275/35 R20 tires and aluminum door sill plates.
Inside, buyers will get aluminum pedals, new floor mats and revised materials. Power is provided by a revised 2.0-liter TDI unit producing 166 horsepower and 395Nm of torque.
The more potent 2.0-liter BiTDI engine gets a boost from 179hp to 212 horsepower. Performance figures were not released yet but expect the additional horses to improve the 0-100 km/h sprint time and also the top speed.
Last but not least, there is a new sports exhaust system a retuned suspension with sport springs and a lowered ground clearance. Pricing and availability details are also yet to be announced.
