Volkswagen unwrapped the Beetle Convertible R-Line at the Chicago Auto Show last week. The open-top German model receives the R-Line package, a feature which is also available for the bigger brother Touareg SUV.
The new package brings larger 19-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, special R-Line badges and bi-xenon headlights.
Inside, you will find several goodies such as leather seats, a new Fender Premium Audio system, satellite navigation, leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum pedals.
On the features list you also find new door trim, a redesigned dashboard but also a start button and keyless access.
“Paired with the Beetle Turbo’s sport-tuned suspension, the combination gives more dynamic driving characteristics,” adds the German carmaker.
Pricing and availability details on the VW Beetle Convertible R-Line for the U.S. market will be released closer to its launch date.
