Hyundai is preparing to debut the new i20 Active crossover with a couple of sketches that give us a closer look at the upcoming model. Revealed by Hyundai India, these drawings show us a front and rear look at the i20 Active, a model that will debut in India sometime in March.
At the exterior, it will get a lot of similar styling features as the i20 hatchback with LED daytime running lights, fog lights, new bumpers and a sloping roofline.
When LED technology started to be popular, we used to see it only for the headlights but in the last years, carmakers opted for LED taillights too. This is the case with the Hyundai i20 Active too as the second image is a proof in this regard.
The ground clearance will be increased while the suspension is also going to receive some tweaks. Under the hood expect to see a base 1.2-liter petrol unit as well as a 1.4-liter diesel. The latter will be available with a six-speed manual transmission while the petrol one could get a five-speed one.
With the debut date set for March, we should see new details and photos on the Hyundai i20 Active in the coming days.
