And people said manufacturers don’t have much of a sense of humor. What we have here more than makes up for the whole idea and it’s on behalf of the Japanese at Mazda.
Mazda revealed their Minagi Compact SUV but they decided they could have some fun in the process.
While the “reveal” only gave us a set of renders of the actual product, these have been as revealing as possible and show us almost every detail available on the new car.
The fun part is in how most of the journalistic media is caught up in whether or not the information came directly from the company or via various leakage sources.
On the serious note it is important to mention that a full unveiling of the Mazda Minagi will not take place until the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The release also includes some interesting information and it seems that Mazda’s new Compact SUV will have SKYACTIV written all over it. Be it in the engine, transmission or chassis, Mazda’s best will all be there.
In simple presentation, the Mazda Minagi will be powered by a latest generation engine, will give you great feel and control through the latest generation engine and chassis while still offering you optimum levels of safety.
Most of the important tricks are expected to be seen in the new SKYACTIV-Body and chassis that merge some serious weight reduction with the safety features we’ve become accustomed to.
