The tuning specialists from B&B Automobiltechnik released a tuning kit for the Volkswagen Golf R. We talk about the new-generation model which packs a 2.0-liter producing 300 horses and 380 Nm of torque in the standard configuration.
The stage 1 package adds extra 60 horses thanks to a remapped electronic injection system. We talk about a total of 360 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, improvements which will cost you €1,298.
Next up is the stage 2 kit which comes with an improved exhaust with sports catalyzer and other minor tweaks for an output of 385 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque.
This costs €3,950 but the range-topping stage 3 package comes with 420 horses and a price tag of €9,850. The standard 0-100 km/h sprint time of 5,1 seconds is improved to 4,5 seconds if you opt for the stage 2 kit.
Other performance details were not released yet though it would be interesting to know the numbers for the stage 3 pack.
