The South Korean manufacturer announced today that the flagship model known as K9 goes on sale in the home market. Kia K9 is a premium sedan with generous dimensions of 5090mm long and 1900mm wide riding a wheelbase of 3045mm.
The exterior appearance sports LED headlights, large front grille and alloy wheels and also a dual-pipe exhaust system in the rear.

Under the bonnet we find a 3.8-liter MPI V6 engine able to deliver 286 horsepower linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
A more powerful 3.8-liter GDI unit with 329 horsepower may enter the range at a certain moment.
Entering the cabin you will find high quality materials such as leather upholstery, a premium 17-speaker Lexicon audio system, metallic trim and a new infotainment system.

Other features of the new Kia K9 include Smart Cruise Control, a rear-view camera, lane departure warning system, blind-spot detection and much more.

If the Koreans are already able to order the new K9, other markets will have to wait few extra months to see the new model in the local dealerships.
