Porsche Australia has recently announced the availability of the all-new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid in the Land Down Under, the model arriving with an entry-level price of AUD 460,000. First deliveries are issued for the third quarter.

Besides the exquisite and evolutionary design, which depicts the car`s aggressive lines, the all-new 2018 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid also features other new tweaks and mechanics that make it stand-out from the crowd.

We are dealing here at 21-inch alloy wheels, air suspension system, torque vectoring, ceramic brakes, dynamic chassis control, as well as new media interface with LTE telephone module, SIM card reader with Wi-Fi Hotspot connectivity.

The car`s main highlight remains the powerful engine under the hood. The carmaker has fitted the 2018 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from the Panamera Turbo, adding a 100 kW electric motor. The total is set at 500 kW and massive 850 Nm of torque.

This allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, at a top speed of 310 km/h. The entire plug-in hybrid drivetrain is also paired to a 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which provides a total electric range of 50 km. The battery pack takes six hours for a full recharge using a 7.2 kW system.

As for the fuel consumption, the new 2018 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid comes with a NEDC combined consumption of just 2.9L / 100 km/h.
