It seems that General Motors decided not to wait for the upcoming Detroit Motor Show, an event which opens its gates early next year, and unveil the 2014 Silverado pick-up truck.

Chevrolet packs a series of three new EcoTec3 units under the bonnet, namely a 4.3-liter V6, a 5.3-liter V8 and a range-topping 6.2-liter V8.

On the outside, the American model comes with revised bumpers, larger 17- to 20-inch alloy wheels, LED bed lighting, flared fenders, a dual power dome hood and a revised front grille.

Further details on pricing will be released next month at the Detroit Motor Show. However, we do know that the new Silverado is scheduled to go on sale somewhere next summer.
