Chevrolet released details and photos on a new concept model designed to preview an upcoming production model. The Niva concept was unveiled at the Moscow Motor Show and comes to shows us how the future crossover models of the company will look like.
Of course, we expect some changes in terms of styling but a lot of design cues shall make it to the final version.
At the exterior, the American concept stands out thanks to the rugged exterior with a roof rack, winch, snorkel and additional lights on the roof.
The off-road tires from BFGoodrich also lets you know that the model can tackle some more difficult terrain.
Under the hood sits a 1.8-liter engine with a five-speed manual transmission. As an off-roader, it comes with all-wheel drive and a locking differential. Inside, the Chevrolet Niva concept offers metallc inserts, off-road gauges and other minor tweaks. Expect more information on the forthcoming production version in the coming months.
