You will notice the somewhat godly, divine, exalting and all that sort of thing within the title when speaking of the ItalDesign Nazca.
This is because for me, growing up, the Nazca C2 was the be all and end all of… well, everything.
The ItalDesign Nazca was a concept (among many) that were speculative of what a future revival of the glorious BMW M1 might be.
When I was a kid, i knew about the BMW M1, and I knew what the Nazca C2 would be capable of if it came back to reality. Sadly, it didn’t happen. ItalDesign’s Nazca went away just as fast as it came.
Since then, a lot has changed however. This is why a Dutch designer Sabino Leerentveld felt the need to revive the spirit of the old BMW powered and Italian designed beast.
The man came up with a new Nazca, in Concept form, of course, that is nothing short of a outstanding. My entire fanboy child grins within me as I take more looks at the new Nazca.
I’m not sure if this is a Nazca C2 or a simple prototype that’s not a racing version but I don’t care, it’s a stunning car with BMW DNA added to the mix.
